1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bolu Car Fix platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bolu Car Fix Ltd.

2. About the Platform

Bolu Car Fix is a marketplace that facilitates connections between customers seeking vehicle repair and assistance services and independent providers offering those services. Bolu Car Fix is not itself a vehicle repair provider. We do not employ mechanics, tow operators, or other service providers listed on the Platform.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
  • You must be a resident of the United Kingdom.
  • Providers must hold all legally required licences, insurance, and certifications applicable to the services they offer.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate vehicle and location information when making a booking.
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the vehicle for the provider.
  • Pay for services as agreed at the time of booking.
  • Treat providers with respect. Abusive behaviour may result in account suspension.

5. Provider Responsibilities

  • Hold and maintain all required trade qualifications, insurance (including public liability), and certifications.
  • Provide services to the standard advertised on your profile.
  • Arrive within the agreed timeframe or notify the customer promptly of any delays.
  • Not solicit customers off-platform to avoid platform fees.
  • Comply with all applicable UK law including consumer protection regulations.

6. Bookings and Cancellations

A booking is confirmed once accepted by the provider. Cancellation policies:

  • Customer cancellation before provider dispatch: No charge.
  • Customer cancellation after provider is en route: A cancellation fee may apply at the provider's discretion (up to the first 30 minutes of travel time).
  • Provider cancellation: The customer will not be charged. Repeated provider cancellations may result in account review.

7. Payments and Fees

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • Bolu Car Fix charges providers a commission on each completed job. Commission rates vary by subscription plan.
  • Provider earnings are held in a Bolu wallet and may be withdrawn to a registered bank account subject to any minimum withdrawal thresholds.
  • All prices displayed are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

8. Disputes and Refunds

If you are dissatisfied with a service received, you may raise a dispute via the support ticket system within 7 days of the job completion. Bolu Car Fix will investigate and may, at its discretion, issue a full or partial refund. Refunds are credited to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. Bolu Car Fix's decision on disputes is final.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Attempt to bypass or disable platform security features.
  • Solicit other users off-platform to circumvent Bolu Car Fix's fees.
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any other user.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including logos, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to Bolu Car Fix Ltd and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce or redistribute any content without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

Bolu Car Fix acts solely as a marketplace intermediary. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by independent providers. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid through the Platform in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@bolucarfix.co.uk.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
